Keith Summers
Running into a wall. Make that two walls.

Written: 8.6.02
In the beautifully landscaped backyard of Keith Summers sits a hammock. Tied between two tree's, the white hammock occupies Keith Summers, sipping on a Michelob Golden Draft Light. Clad in a orange AE polo shirt and khaki Polo shorts, Keith soaks up the sun, Nickelback's 'Woke Up This Morning' playing in the background.

Keith: Keith Summers and Vincent Picasso, the two most well rounded wrestlers this business has ever seen. We can fly, we can brawl, we can stretch, we can hit...we're well rounded. On the other side of the ring, Jin Akujin and Subdued. Two green, yet experienced rookies.

Keith: I'm not about to take this match lightly. We're one week away from Discord, the 'hump' show for Mercury. And I'm not one to go into a big show like that at half steam, especially when I may have a shot at the world title. So at Fusion, it's more than a tag match.

Keith: Think about it, Subby and Jin, you two could get a big dubya over two of the best Mercury has to offer, and then go on to beat the hell out of each other at Discord. But, as it stands right now, Jin is EEI's new whipping boy, replacing Robert Young, and Subdued got beaten, clean and fair, in the middle of that ring by Picasso. I think this is more than a tag match for you boys.

Keith: You two could argue that you've already made a name for yourselves, but the fact of the matter is that you are nobody until you defeat Keith Summers and Vincent Picasso. Men like Picasso and myself take wrestling onto a higher level, we transcend it. We take it above 'kick the hell out of the other guy', and move it to 'drop him on his dammed head until he doesn't move, and then stretch the hell out of him.' We make it into an art, an art that two green-behind-the-ears rookies don't yet understand.

Keith polishes off his bottle of Michelob before gaining a bit of a snide tone in his voice.

Keith: Oh, but wait, Jin Akujin took Harbinger to the limits and Subdued took me to a time limit draw. That makes them good, right Keith? NO! That's FAR from being on the same playing field as EEI. Contrary to what Subdued is pushing around, I was far from tapping, and could have went another 30 minutes in our little match. And Akujin may have taken Harbinger to his limits, but I pushed his when I defended my world title against him, dropping him straight on the top of his damn head.

Keith: Spare me the excuses, boys, and tell me WHY you are on the same field as any EEI member. Because as of this moment, as of right now, not a damn soul in Mercury can lick our boots. And that includes you, Subdued and Akujin. I hope you two are ready to get picked apart at Fusion.

Keith tips his Mets hat down, blocking out the sun, attempting to nap as we fade out.
