(Subdued is sitting in a folding chair against a plain gray wall. He’s wearing a pair of plain black sweats with a sweated up tank-top. Beads of perspiration occasionally drip from his face as he is slightly hunched over.)

Who woulda thunked it? EEI turning on the fans of LCW… taking out an innocent Jin… wow. I can totally see why they’d be pissed at Beaumont, but what did Jin have to do with it? Is it just because he has the NA title right now? Are they going to do the same thing to Slate at the next Fusion? Am I going to get the same treatment when I win the North American belt? Can I trust anyone? Are there more guys out there with their same attitude? Damn, this just can’t be good.

(He now looks up to the camera.)

So Vincent, people have passed you by with titles and title shots? Hmmm, I could have sworn that you were one of two people standing in the middle of the ring in New Orleans retiring the BELTS you held for something like five months. Yeah, they weren’t single’s titles, but they did show that you were the best at what you did.

(He glances back down to the floor and inhales deeply. After collecting his thoughts for a moment, he continues.)

It’s always seems like most people have trouble moving from the tag team ranks to singles competition. But you proved everyone wrong. Defeating Gol is no small feat. Sure, he wasn’t really into the match. Everyone could see that. But I certainly don’t take anything away from you. Whenever you beat a former World’s Champ, you know you’ve done something right. You might say that I’m on the same boat as you with my match against Robert Young. I know he’s better than he showed this week, but like I’ve said before, a win is a win is a win. Hold on, I take that back. A clean win, is a win is a win.

We both beat Oblivion members this past week, but I guess it just doesn’t have the same kind of meaning as it would have had before this whole about face. It looks as if that’s the only thing we may have in common right now. No fans like EEI right now, so I guess they’ll have no choice as to be behind me next week. That’s all well and good, but I was kinda hoping they’d cheer for me and be behind me due to my excellent wrestling abilities, but maybe this will just start ‘em off on the right foot. But then again, maybe they’ll be cheering for me because I didn’t attack someone five-on-one. Who knows? I guess everyone will see how good I am against a two-on-one… three-on-one… four-on-one…

(Subdued’s voice trails off as he lowers his head again trying to contemplate the recent happenings at Fusion.)
