Written: 4/24/2007 The soft humming of the jet engine is heard inside the first class section of the aircraft. The sky is dark as Scott just made the last flight back to Florida. Looking out the window Scott sees tiny lights flickering on the ground through the clear night sky. Coming from the back of the plane a small child starts to cry and snaps Scott out of his daze. Scott Royal: Dirge looks like you are correct we do have some unfinished business. Our last meeting did not finish the way I had pictured. I was a bit distracted and not on my game. Even when I am off my game I am better then most but I am not going to get into that here and now. Scott shifts in his seat a bit and takes a quick drink from his glass. Scott Royal: I am going to go home rest for a day or two and then hit the gym and prepare for our match. Yes I will train hard and focus my attention on just you. How many times have you heard that? I am sure more then you care to count. Scott Royal: I could also act like it was no big deal and joke around acting like a goof the ways (lifting an eyebrow) some do. Scott Royal: Truth be told it is a big deal. I hate to loose at anything. This time when we meet it is going to be one on one the way I like it. Like two gladiators that face off in the arena for their very life. No one will die but blood will be shed. Scott Royal: You see Dirge after our match they will play a Dirge for one of us. No matter the outcome every single person in that arena will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we left it all in the ring. Scott takes another drink and drains his glass. Scott motions for the attendant to bring another. Scott Royal: See ya in the ring Dirge. Bring you’re a game please I know I will because I am Scott Royal and I wrestle! Screen fades as the drink is sat down in front of him. View Scott Royal's Biography |
