Scott Royal
Moving Time

Written: 3/1/2007
Scott Royal is standing in front of crumbled head stones. The cemetery around him is very quiet in the cool winter day. Scott is wearing dark sunglasses a black leather jacket white t-shirt and black jeans.

Scott Royal: In life there are things that you just don’t do. You don’t eat yellow snow, you don’t spit in the wind and you don’t tug on Superman’s cape!

Scott uses the humor to mask his true sorrow over the destruction of his family’s smashed headstones.

Scott Royal: Brim you may think you are helping me by making me more focused on this match. You could not be more wrong! I never underestimate any opponent that I step into the ring with. When I lace up my boots I am more then focused on the task at hand.

Scott turns and walks away as you see the graves have been dug up and is now empty.

Scott Royal: All that you have done my friend is make me just that much angrier. You have pushed me that much more closely to the edge.

Scott Royal: Yes, I am very calm right now. I am not nor have I ever been a man to loose my cool outside the ring. I may not be a cocky as I once was. I am not the young kid anymore. I have grown in so many ways that you never will it appears.

Scott stops as he reaches his Blue Hummer. Scott leans back against it and with his arms crossed takes off his sunglasses.

Scott Royal: Do not take my grief as a sign of weakness. That would be a big mistake on your part. Yeah so you walk around for years dealing with whatever it is in your life that has made you like you are. That is fine that is your thing then go with it use it however you can.

Scott Royal: Just don’t tell me what I need to do and not do. You see each and every one of us are different and deal with things in different ways. Just because I want to beat the living snot out of someone does not mean that I am weak. I am dealing with what God has dealt me and going with it.

Scott Royal: When I step into the ring with you I may choose to take you apart a little at a time or…I could decide to do something else all together now!

Scott lets a half grin slide across his face.

Scott Royal: Just know this I will be ready for a fight because I am Scott Royal…and that’s what I do!

Scott turns around and get’s into the Hummer and drives off!
